Absolutely no.
That's clutches for all folks, an interesting name to
feature in this list is the Christian church and their Convent School's owns
the biggest portion of India's non-agriculture land. Most of those land and
wealth was condemned from Hindu Temples in Colonial times. Over 25000 plus
Primary and Secondary schools and Universities run by Churches. Catholic
Churches holds over more than 7000 crores by 2009 and straight away they will
easily have to hold over 50000 crores. Britishers were terribly sensible as they
knew a way to subdue the Indians. To quote Macaulay Speech in 1830s They told
"I don't suppose we might ever conquer this country, unless we tend to
break the terrible backbone of this nation, that is her Spiritual and cultural
heritage, and, therefore, I propose that we tend to replace her previous and
ancient education system, her culture, for if the Indians suppose that everyone
that's foreign and English is good”. In order that they destroyed over one lakh
Gram schools in Bihar and Bengal presidency and over 1,81,000 Gram Schools in
Madras presidency. These Indian schools were wholly supported Values and
Ethical Education.
In Today's state of affairs at least all the Private schools
and Convent Schools are charging high Tuition fee as well as the Maintenance
fee, Miscellaneous fee, Sports fee, PC fee, recreational fee and etc. and in
the name of Education what are they giving us? A Principal shoot by 11th class
Student in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana at Parent's-Teacher meet, Class 1st student
stabbed by the 11-year-old girl in Lucknow, Ryan college dead case etc.
Student's do not take Education interesting, however, look for school bell.
Convent colleges not only destroyed our Education system but also our cultural,
classical dances and exam pattern. Dances like Bharatnatyam and Kuchipudi in
schools and colleges are not available now. In 1910 missionaries banned the
customs of classical dance in Hindu temples. On October 8th, 2015 Doveton’s
Girls school of Chennai, a girl fined Rs500 for sporting Mehdi. The system and
pattern of Convent Schools are useless and idle, they do not give depth
information about all subject, however, decreasing our intellect power. To
quote Swami Vivekananda "It isn’t man creating education, it's simply and
completely a negative education". In Convent School's you may completely
not speak in the other languages, however, English solely. Sanskrit, Hindi and
regional languages degrading day by day. Catholic and Convent school preparing
students only for Profession not learning life. It always concerns about School
reputation, not student reputation. By the report of 2016 over 44000 plus
primary schools and 98000 plus secondary schools run and funded by fully
Churches and state.
India ought to revive their education system where the main motto
is to learn and explore life process. In the year 2016, a 14th-year student
from the gurukul based school of India participated in International Math
Olympiad and topped among 18 countries which are run by Bharat Shikshan Mandal.
Bharat Shikshan Mandal started a revolution of Vedic Schools and teaching and
almost more than 1200 Gurukul Schools successfully run in India. Currently,
Bhoomi College and Swaraj University Rajasthan give Participative, holistic,
sensible and practical learning. We want a lot of Indic based institution to
come back into the mainstream and to eliminate Convent Schools from India.
Eventually, I conclude with Education isn't the quantity of knowledge that's
placed into your brain and runs riot there, undigested, all your life but
education is a continuous process.
